HARVARD ST

Adam Terwall, 28, 41 Dimich Street, Somerville, and Katelyn Meehan, 31, 102 Ellory Street, Cambridge, were placed under arrest for Breaking and Entering Nighttime for Felony and Meehan was also arrested on a warrant out of Brockton District Court for Failing to Attend Jury Duty. The suspects were apprehended after a witness observed them climbing a fence and breaking into a construction site building.

Lilac Court residents reported that their home was broken into by an unknown suspect who gained entry through an unlocked rear glass sliding door. The residents reported that nothing was missing at the time.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Everett Street for a report of a Breaking and Entering in progress. The building manager encountered a suspicious man in the basement storage area, whom he believed was in the process of stealing residents’ property.

A Cambridge resident was issued a criminal citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle With an Expired License and Failing to Inspect a Motor Vehicle, after she was observed operating a motor vehicle with an expired inspection sticker.

Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance units responded to a local school for a report of an unattended suitcase. The K9 unit swept the surrounding area and cleared the suitcase. Police units were able to make contact with the owner who responded to retrieve the found suitcase.

Lisa Medeiros, 41, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting By Concealing Merchandise, after she was observed by store personnel concealing merchandise totaling $129.84.

A resident of Mullins Court reported that $100 in coins and valuable pieces of jewelry were stolen from her home. The victim reported that the suspect could have gained entry to the apartment via a spare key that is hidden for the residents.

A Weymouth resident reported that their motor vehicle was damaged while it was parked on Fulkerson Street on 12/12. He stated that he observed the front right tire to be slashed by an unknown suspect.

Kelly Burns, 51, 393 Broadway, Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Liquor, after she was involved in a car accident at Broadway and Highland Avenue. Cambridge Police arrived on scene and witnesses reported that the defendant had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath, glassy eyes, and slurred speech. After Standard Field Sobriety tests were performed, Burns was determined to be impaired and was consequently arrested.

Cambridge Police responded to a Granite Street address for the report of a past larceny of a bicycle. The victim stated that an unknown person stole his bicycle from where it was locked on his back porch.
