Cambridge Police responded to a Gore Street address for a stolen motor vehicle report. A Cambridge residence reported that she parked her car outside her home and returned from vacation to find that it had been removed without her notice.

WINDSOR ST
Cambridge Police responded to Windsor Street for an unattended backpack. Upon my arrival, a CPD K9 swept the area and presented the backpack. The K9 did not show a change of behavior or alert on the bag. An officer opened the backpack and identified the owner of the backpack, who is a student at the Putnam Ave Upper School. CPD responded to the school and returned the backpack to the student.

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Raymond Clair, 40, 3 Gold Star Place in Cambridge, and charged him with Distribution of a Class B Substance (Cocaine), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Cocaine), Possession of a Class E Substance (Adderall), and three counts of Drug Violation near School/Park. Clair sold cocaine to an undercover police officer in the parking lot of an apartment building and again inside a park on Clarendon Avenue. Detectives approached Clair, who made an unsuccessful attempt to flee the area and discard evidence. Detectives recovered nine (9) individually packaged bags of cocaine, two (2) individually packaged bags of heroin, and various folds of U.S. currency. A bag of heroin and a bag of pink pills, identified as Adderall, were recovered on Clarendon Avenue after Detectives observed him discarding the items during his flight attempt. Detectives also recovered three individually packaged bags of cocaine that were sold by Clair to the undercover officer. This arrest occurred within 300 feet of the Matignon High School and one hundred feet of Clarendon Park.
