Donations Now Being Accepted for 10th Annual Secret Santa for Seniors Gift Drive

Secret Santa 2016 FINAL

The Cambridge Police Department is seeking donations for its annual “Secret Santa for Seniors” gift drive.

Now in its 10th year, the Cambridge Police’s “Secret Santa for Seniors” gift drive will accept donations now through Friday, Dec. 16. Gifts can be dropped off in the first floor main lobby of the Robert W. Healy Public Safety Facility, 125 Sixth St. or at City Hall, 795 Mass. Ave., in the City Clerk's Office.

Over the 10 years of this program, the Cambridge Police and the community have brought joy to thousands of senior citizens. We are looking forward to bringing even more cheer to our seniors this year.

The following suggested items – unwrapped – would be greatly appreciated:

  • Food – non-perishable (e.g. chocolate, tea, jams, crackers, hard candy)
  • Gift cards
  • Socks
  • Slippers
  • Hats
  • Gloves
  • Blankets
  • Bath robes
  • Local sport team items
  • Lip balm
  • Cough Drops
