Officers responded to an armed robbery on Rindge Avenue. The victim had no visible images and described the suspect as a black male in his early 20’s with an average build, wearing dark clothing and a dark bandana covering his hair.

MAIN ST
Cambridge Police responded to the area of Main Street for a ShotSpotter activation, which was later determined to be unfounded. As a result of this investigation, a vehicle was observed in the parking lot at the corner of Portland and Main Streets with five occupants in and around the vehicle. Upon further investigation, officers noticed and could smell a large odor of marijuana in the area emanating from this vehicle. All five subjects were stopped and identified. Subsequently one Sebastien Gassant, 23, 601 River Street in Mattapan, was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. Gassant was placed under arrest for the Possession of Class B Crack/Cocaine.
