Fabio Yunior Moreta, 26, of 165 Willow Street Lawrence, was arrested for Larceny Over $250 after he was observed attempting to steal over $1000 worth of merchandise from a Cambridgeside Place business.

Cambridge Police responded to Central Square in regards to a fight. Officers observed two males in a physical struggle upon their arrival. Based on the statements of the victim and multiple witnesses, it was determined that a Somerville resident approached another male and began punching him. The male suspect was yelling at the male victim to give him back the $40 which he was supposedly owed. The male suspect refused to leave the area and he continued to scream and curse at the victim in front of several police officers and numerous bystanders. The Somerville resident was summonsed to court for Assault & Battery to Collect a Loan and Disorderly Conduct.

He was stopped after fleeing from a Memorial Drive business after attempting to use a false credit card to make a purchase and providing a false form of identification to connect him to the form of payment.

Francisco Rasate-Reyes, 26, of 240 Albany Street, Cambridge was arrested for attempted arson of a motor vehicle on Lopez Street. Rasate-Reyes was observed and positively identified by a witness as placing a paper bag in the engine area of a motorcycle and lighting the paper on fire in an attempt to burn the vehicle.
