Cambridge Police removed a Nissan Altima from a public way after officers discovered the registration had been revoked for insurance. The vehicle was towed to a nearby tow lot and the owner was issued a citation for allowing a motor vehicle with a revoked registration to remain on a public way.

DRUG, DISTRIBUTE CLASS B,

PORTLAND ST
Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Arlis Evans, 47, 58 Creighton Street in Cambridge, at Washington Street and Portland Street and charged him with Trafficking Cocaine Over 18 grams, Distribution of a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Fentanyl) and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act. Also charged and summonsed into Cambridge District Court on a charge of Possession of a Class B Substance are two residents of Cambridge. Detectives on surveillance observed Evans and another party engage in a suspected drug transaction on Green Street at Landsdowne Street. Upon being stopped, one of the summonsed Cambridge residents was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. Evans was later stopped and approximately 18 grams of cocaine and four grams of fentanyl were found in the motor vehicle he was operating.
