The Cambridge Police Department today announced they have made an arrest of a Boston resident, who was allegedly involved in a non-fatal shooting that took place on Tuesday, September 5th in the Auburn Street and River Street area.

Antoine Brown, 25, 97 Monsignor Patrick J. Lydon Way in Boston, was arrested this afternoon for Armed Assault with Intent to Murder and other firearm-related charges after the Cambridge Police with support from the U.S. Marshalls served an arrest warrant out of Cambridge District Court in New Bedford.

As a result of September 5th shooting incident, two young males in their 20s sustained non-life threatening injuries. Officers believed it was a targeted shooting.

“Our officers and law enforcement partners conducted a thorough investigation to identify this suspect and have been relentless in their pursuit of him,” said Police Commissioner Branville G. Bard. “I am incredibly proud to report that all of the suspects wanted in the three separate shooting incidents on September 5th and September 10th have now all been identified and taken into custody.”

Brown is expected to be arraigned tomorrow in Cambridge District Court.
