11/05/2017 01:09 INCIDENT 17007900 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a motor vehicle crash. It was discovered that a motor vehicle had struck a parked vehicle, then fled the area. The damaged vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed from the scene.
11/05/2017 09:07 INCIDENT 17007901 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY +$250, MALICIOUS c266 S12	PORTER SQ Cambridge Police received a call from a property manager that there had been malicious destruction to the building that he manages. An unknown person(s) gained entrance to the building between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. and sawed a section of copper water pipe deep within the building, which caused flooding.
11/05/2017 11:50 INCIDENT 17007902 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	ALLSTON ST A Cambridge resident reported her motor vehicle was struck and damaged by another motor vehicle sometime between 10/30/2017 at 7 p.m. and 11/05/2017 at 11:30 a.m. while it was parked at the corner of Allston Street and Grove Street.
11/05/2017 12:17 INCIDENT 17007903 SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE c266 S30A	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Elizabeth Splaine, 34, of 90 Fawcett Street in Cambridge, was arrested at a Massachusetts Avenue business for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, Resisting Arrest, and a warrant out of Somerville District Court for Larceny Over $250. The same incident resulted in a Braintree resident being summonsed for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise.

11/05/2017 13:59 INCIDENT 17007906 LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30	IRVING ST A taxi operator came to the front desk to report that he was the victim of a fare evasion after dropping off a passenger on Irving Street.
11/05/2017 15:20 INCIDENT 17007907 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a hit & run report. Further investigation revealed that a vehicle had struck a parked vehicle, then fled the area without the operator leaving behind their information.
11/05/2017 16:23 INCIDENT 17007908 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	MEMORIAL DR A Boston resident reported a larceny.
11/05/2017 17:02 INCIDENT 17007909 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION c266 S30A	CAMBRIDGESIDE PL Cambridge Police responded to Cambridgeside Place in regards to a shoplifter. A male, later identified as Stephen Costigan, 28, homeless, took a leatherman multi-tool from a Cambridgeside Place business and left the store without paying. Costigan initially refused to stop for police, then became dead-weight in the middle of Cambridge Street while screaming and cursing at officers. The stolen leatherman was located in plain view. Costigan was placed under arrest and charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.
11/05/2017 18:14 INCIDENT 17007911 B&E DAYTIME FOR FELONY c266 S18	HAMPSHIRE ST A Hampshire Street resident reported a breaking and entering to their apartment. Various items were reported stolen.
11/05/2017 19:44 INCIDENT 17007912 ATTEMPT TO COMMIT CRIME c274 S6	ABERDEEN AVE Cambridge Police responded to an Aberdeen Avenue address for an attempted breaking and entering. On arrival, a cut screen was located but entry was not gained through the locked window. A check of the area was negative for the suspect.

11/04/2017 02:04 ARREST 17007878 DISORDERLY CONDUCT c272 S53	MAIN ST Gerardo Carrera Mendoza, 37, of Mexico City, Mexico was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct after he was observed urinating in public by a police officer.
11/04/2017 06:53 INCIDENT 17007880 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	RINDGE AVE A Cambridge resident reported that their motor vehicle was broken into while parked in a Rindge Avenue parking lot. Various items were stolen from inside.
11/04/2017 13:27 INCIDENT 17007883 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	APPLETON ST A Cambridge resident reported an unknown person vandalized his vehicle between 11/03/2017 at 8:30 p.m. and 11/04/2017 at 1:45 p.m.
11/04/2017 14:05 INCIDENT 17007884 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	BROADWAY Cambridge Police responded to Broadway for a report of an unattended bag. The Explosive Ordinance Unit and K9 officer cleared the bag upon arrival.
11/04/2017 15:48 INCIDENT 17007885 LEWDNESS, OPEN AND GROSS c272 S16	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to Essex Street for a male urinating in public. As a result of the investigation, a Boston resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for a single count of open & gross lewdness.
11/04/2017 16:12 INCIDENT 17007886 MISC. REPORT TYPE	PINE ST A Cambridge resident reported suspicious activity that occurred on Pine Street.
11/04/2017 16:27 INCIDENT 17007887 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	BISHOP ALLEN DR Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street for a marked lanes violation. As a result of the stop, units were informed that the registered owner and driver of the vehicle, James Bonaventure, 23, of 8 Kimball Court, Burlington, had a warrant out of Cambridge District court for Failure to Stop for Police. Bonaventure was placed into custody.

11/04/2017 17:00 INCIDENT 17007892	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a past larceny report.
11/04/2017 17:34 INCIDENT 17007889 A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON c265 S15A	HARVARD SQ Cambridge Police responded to Harvard Square on a report of an assault in progress. The victim denied medical attention and officers were unable to locate the suspect.
11/04/2017 17:40 INCIDENT 17007890 NUMBER PLATE VIOLATION ATTACHING / OBSCURING / FAI	BRISTOL ST Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop on Bristol Street. The driver of the motor vehicle will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for the following offenses: Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Number Plate Violation, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, No Inspection Sticker, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

11/03/2017 00:18 ARREST 17007856 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	BISHOP ALLEN DR Tevin J. Brown, 25, out of 14 Grove Street, Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Negligent operation of a Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Destruction of Property, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, Drug Violation near a School/Park, and Possession to Distribute a Class D Drug.

11/03/2017 09:52 INCIDENT 17007859 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	TECHNOLOGY SQ A Malden resident came to the police station to report that an unknown person gained access to his debit card info and withdrew $980 from an ATM in Kendall Square in September.
11/03/2017 10:57 INCIDENT 17007861 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY +$250, MALICIOUS c266 S12	DIVINITY AVE Police responded to Divinity Avenue for a past malicious destruction of property report.
11/03/2017 11:03 INCIDENT 17007860 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	GARDEN ST An Arlington resident came to the police station to report a hit & run to his motor vehicle resulting in property damage that occurred on 10/09/17.
11/03/2017 11:22 INCIDENT 17007863 UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV c90 S10	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Wyatt Sears, 23, of 353 Silver Street, Milton, NH, was arrested and charged with Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Class B Drug. Sears also had a warrant out of Malden District Court for Larceny from a Building. During a traffic stop, Sears was found to be operating a motor vehicle without a license and in the possession of a white powdery substance. Sears led officers on a brief foot chase prior to being apprehended.

11/03/2017 15:07 INCIDENT 17007868 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	BENNETT ST A rental car company in Harvard Square reported that someone did not return a rental on the specified date. A stolen motor vehicle report was completed
11/03/2017 15:07 INCIDENT 17007870 FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE ON COURT WARRANT c276 S20A	PALMER ST Raul Marques, 46, of San Diego, CA, was stopped after Cambridge Police received a report of a suspicious male. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Marques had a warrant from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office for being a Fugitive from Justice.

11/03/2017 18:32 INCIDENT 17007873 B&E DAYTIME FOR FELONY c266 S18	MARKET ST A Cambridge resident reported that her apartment was broken into and money was removed from her bedroom.
11/03/2017 19:54 INCIDENT 17007874 LARCENY FROM PERSON c266 S25	BERKSHIRE ST A New Jersey resident reported that her wallet was stolen from her backpack while in a coffee shop in Harvard Square.
11/03/2017 21:19 INCIDENT 17007875 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	CAMBRIDGESIDE PL Cambridge Police responded to a Cambridgeside Place business for a larceny report.
11/03/2017 22:20 INCIDENT 17007876 MISC. REPORT TYPE	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue address for the report of a suspicious person who had followed two females for an extended period of time. The suspicious person was gone prior to the arrival of the officers.
