A manager of a Brattle Street business reported 2 black females entered the store and went directly to the clothing rack displaying a variety of "Canada Goose" winter coats. They grabbed a total of 6 black coats then headed for the exit with no intention of paying. When confronted by sales staff members, the two suspects threatened to shoot the staff if they followed them or called the police.

Police placed Lynne Walsh, 56, 1221 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, under arrest for unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Walsh was found to be in the possession of a pair of stolen earrings from a Central Square business. Walsh reportedly punched the Loss Prevention officer on the way out of the store when he attempted to stop her. After being placed under arrest, Walsh kicked a container of mac and cheese which struck a police officer in the leg.
