John DuBuque, 50, homeless, was placed under arrest for Drinking in Public/Possessing an Open Container of Alcohol in Public, Trespassing, Threat to Commit a Crime, and Witness Intimidation. Officers responded to a business located on Cambridge Street for a report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival, an officer observed Dubuque drinking from an open container of alcohol. An employee of the business reported that Dubuque was inside making noises and bothering customers. When the employee asked Dubuque to leave and he refused, they threatened to call the police. Dubuque then reportedly threatened the employee. It was later confirmed that Dubuque had entered the business after having been forbidden to do so by a Cambridge Police Officer on 4/26/2016.

The other warrant was out of Norfolk Superior Court for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Negligent Operation of a motor Vehicle, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Employees of a Cambridge business called the police emergency line to request the removal of an unwanted male. Officers responded and began to escort Kevin Francis McBride out of the building. Prior to arriving at the exit, McBride punched one officer then struggled with another officer in an attempt to either escape or prevent the officer from taking him into custody. After a struggle, Kevin Francis McBride, 47, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Trespassing, and Disorderly Conduct.
