Cambridge Police Remind Residents of Resources to Combat and Prevent Hate Crimes

The Cambridge Police Department continues to closely monitor the ongoing Israel/Hamas conflict overseas. In recent weeks, CPD has received reports of anti-Arab and antisemitic hate crime incidents. We are committed to safeguarding the state and federal civil rights of all individuals irrespective of their race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or gender, and to aggressively investigating any reported acts or threats of violence, property damage, harassment, intimidation, or other crimes that appear motivated by bias against or hatred of a particular group. Please watch our report to learn about the number of resources CPD has in place to learn more about hate crime complaints and your civil rights.

If you believe you, your business or organization has been the victim of a hate crime in Cambridge, please contact the Cambridge Police Department. The Cambridge Police will fully investigate, document, and respond to all allegations of bias or hate-motivated crime.
