Cambridge Highlands - Resident Parking Survey Results

The Cambridge Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department recently conducted a survey to determine the level of interest in Resident Parking Permits, as requested by a group of residents.

We posted and distributed flyers throughout the Cambridge Highlands neighborhood and surveyed residents living on:

  • Normandy Ave
  • South Normandy Ave
  • Normandy Terrace
  • Griswold Street
  • Sunset Road
  • Blanchard Road
  • Loomis Street

After reviewing the survey results, we have decided not to implement Resident Parking regulations.

With approximately 297 households in the area, we received 175 responses from residents. Out of these, 51% were in favor of the resident parking regulation, while 49% were against it. Without a consensus of support for the proposal, we will not proceed with the resident permit parking regulations. No changes to parking will be made in the neighborhood.

Thank you to those who participated in the survey!
