Traffic Safety Awareness Day

Volpe National Transportation System Center will be hosting a Traffic Safety Awareness Day in collaboration with Cambridge Police & Community Development departments Tuesday, Aug 26, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Volpe Center Parking Lot #1, 55 Broadway, Cambridge.

The free event includes hands-on demonstrations; Distracted Driving Simulator; Distractology Van; B.A.T. Mobile; Rollover Simulator; MIT AgeLab Instrumented AwareCar; and Volpe Center’s Unintended Acceleration Simulator.  There will also be concussion, macular degeneration and glaucoma goggles; LIDAR & RADAR equipment; bike & pedestrian safety; child seat safety; transit info. & giveaways.
