Local personality Jimmy Tingle has agreed to be one of the featured speakers at a presentation on Addiction And Recovery Out of the Darkness and Into the Light Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 1-2:30 p.m., at Cambridge Citywide Senior Center, 806 Mass. Ave.  Resources will be provided. Light refreshments will be served.

Stronger Together, a Cambridge‐based peer support group for 55+ adults in recovery from drugs and alcohol, is hosting the panel discussion and Q&A for community members. Panel Topics Include: Facts about addictive disorders; Personal experience stories from group members; Healthy coping strategies; Risk and protective factors; Link between addiction and mental health; Stigma; and Recovery as a lifelong process.
