Over the next week, Cambridge Fire Department will be conducting training exercises with simulated smoke at One Kendall Square (buildings 1500 and 1700), at Cardinal Medeiros Ave. and Binney St. The practice drills will take place between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Dec. 13, 15, 19 and 20. The exercise will include multiple fire trucks staging in the loading dock areas. This simulated smoke will likely be seen by people in the vicinity but will not be a hindrance to the public or traffic.

Cambridge Fire Department appreciates the opportunity to conduct this hands-on training and thanks the community for their understanding.
