The Cambridge License Commission, its Investigators and designees will be conducting Minimum Purchase Age Compliance checks throughout the City of Cambridge from 02/14/2020 - 12/31/2020.
Legislature passed a law increasing from 7 to 9 the number of off-premises (§ 15) licenses any person or combination of persons may hold, directly or indirectly, in MA, starting January 1, 2020.
No licensee shall directly or indirectly be given money or any other thing of substantial value in any effort to induce, influence or refrain from purchasing of any particular brand or kind of alcoholic beverages.
The 2020 Renewal Application will require all alcohol licensees to certify under the pains and penalties of perjury that they are in compliance with Board’s Rule 5B.10 (Alcohol Related Training). In addition, the Licensing Investigators will be conducting random compliance checks in 2020.
