Take control of your high blood pressure and health: The Cambridge Public Health Department’s Healthy Eating and Active Living team is partnering with CHA’s Windsor Clinic to offer monthly walk-in education sessions on hypertension (high blood pressure) prevention and maintenance strategies.

Shortly before midnight on Wednesday, October 7th Cambridge Emergency Communications received a 9-1-1 call reporting that an individual had been shot in the vicinity of Columbia Terrace. Cambridge Police, Fire and ProEMS responded to the scene where they located a victim who was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. CPD Personnel are on-scene and conducting an active investigation into the circumstance surrounding this incident, there is not believed to be any broader danger to the community at this time. The Outstanding Employee Awards program recognizes City employees nominated for superior performance, positive attitude, hard work, and dedication to public service. The Brian Murphy Award for Leadership in the Workplace and Public Service is a distinguished recognition given to leaders who display extraordinary qualities in the workplace and dedication to community service. Following an ongoing investigation into three separate sexual assaults that have been reported this year, the Cambridge Police today released a series of videos and surveillance photos of a suspect they are attempting to identify and locate. The suspect is believed to be associated with all three indecent assault reports.
