The Municipal Election will be held on November 4, 2025. Find information regarding voter registration, voting by mail, voting early in-person, voting on Election Day, and specimen ballots for the election. Compostable Food Waste Bag Giveaway
The city is actively exploring new ways to make bags more accessible and affordable for residents. DPW will be handing out kitchen bins to residents new to the program and one roll of compostable bags to ongoing participants.
Cambridge Retirement Board Meeting
Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023 adopted by Massachusetts General Court and approved by the Governor, the Cambridge Retirement System is authorized to use remote participation at meetings of the Board.

Memorial Day Observance for Maritime Military Members
Join the City of Cambridge Department of Veterans Services (DVS) to to commemorate military members lost due to maritime battles/ disasters. We will release flowers, have a moment of silence, and reflect while listening to a recording of the Navy Academy Choir.
