Marriage Licenses are issued by the City Clerk's Office

Cool down under “SHADE” at Donnelly Field. Designed by local teens in collaboration with engineers, educator mentors, youth advocates and designers, SHADE is one of three temporary public art structures that have been installed across the as part of the City of Cambridge’s Shade Is Social Justice program to provide shade and seating, and to further the city’s efforts to address our warming world.

JAS is hosting a community meeting on April 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to provide updates on the proposed development at 37 Brookline Street as 100% affordable housing. The Baker-Polito Administration announced a new initiative, the Vax Express, to help further increase access to the COVID-19 vaccine, particularly in communities with low vaccination rates. The Vax Express aims to further increase the Commonwealth’s vaccination rate by offering a unique, and community-focused approach to encourage more people to get vaccinated. Massachusetts continues to be a national leader in vaccination rates with 80 percent of adults having received at least one dose and over 3.9 million residents fully vaccinated.

Cambridge Public Library has a social worker who can help in person or over the phone. The social worker speaks English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
