More than three years later, the war continues with devastating consequences for civilians, including widespread death, displacement, and food insecurity, creating a severe humanitarian crisis. Join Professor Mai Hassan, Associate Professor of Political Science at MIT and Faculty Director of the MIT-Africa Program, for a conversation about the origins and ongoing consequences of the war, its humanitarian impact, and the challenges facing Sudan’s future.
