The City of Cambridge today announced it has been awarded a $1 million construction grant from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ (EEA) Dam and Seawall Program that will help ensure repairs of critical infrastructure with the Cambridge Reservoir Dam, Hobbs Brook Gatehouse, and Outlet Culvert. Cambridge was one of the 21 municipalities and nonprofit organizations to be awarded over $5.6 million in grants to repair dams and strengthen coastal infrastructure across Massachusetts. 

The Cambridge Police Department utilizes education and targeted enforcement to enhance roadway safety, reduce harm, and promote compliance with traffic laws as part of the City's Vision Zero commitment.

For people who are depressed or grieving, the holidays can bring on intense feelings of loneliness, isolation, and sadness.

You need a permit to park in areas designated “Parking by Permit Only.” Residents may apply for Resident Parking Permits (RPP), for passenger vehicles and motorcycles, and/or Visitor Parking Permits (VPP), which may only be used by visitors.
