Bicycle Safety Racks Added to Trash Trucks

In an effort to help improve the safety for cyclists during curbside trash operations, safety guards have been installed at the bottom of some our trucks. The modifications to the trucks will help minimize potential injuries to cyclists. These racks will be installed on a few of the DPW trash trucks over the next few months.
