Harvard Square Public Toilet Out of Service

Opened in February 2016, the Harvard Square Public Toilet (located in MacArthur Park near Church St.) has been a welcome addition to the square and used by many passersby.

Recently, the toilet has been taken out of service temporarily due to issues with freezing during low temperatures.

The City is aware and is working with the manufacturer and contractor to identify and schedule a repair in the coming weeks.

Water to the toilet has been shut off to prevent any further damages caused by freezing.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.
