On Friday, August 15 , the City’s contractor, MIG Corporation, will be pouring a portion of the new concrete flooring inside of the Cambridge Street Tunnel. In order to perform this work efficiently, the eastbound side of the Cambridge Street Tunnel (traveling from Harvard Square towards Cambridge Fire Dept. Headquarters) will be closed from 5 AM – 5PM. Motorists travelling in the westbound lanes will not be impacted.Please view the detour map below.
