Cambridge, Boston, Chelsea, Everett, Lynn Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

Suspect sought in connection with 21 similar robberies in neighboring communities


The Cambridge, Boston, Chelsea, Everett, and Lynn Police Departments are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect who is believed to have robbed at least twenty-one conveniences stores since February, many at gunpoint.

This same suspect may be responsible for similar armed robberies of convenience stores in the communities of Cambridge, Chelsea, East Boston, Everett, Jamaica Plain, and Lynn.

On October 28, 2013, this suspect is believed to have entered a convenience store on Cambridge Street in Cambridge where he approached the counter, lifted his shirt to display a firearm, and demanded money before fleeing.

Most recently, the suspect is believed to have robbed a convenience store in Everett on October 31st.

No one has been injured in these robberies; however the suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous.

“Luckily no one has been injured,” said Commissioner Robert Haas of the Cambridge Police Department.  “We need the public’s help to identify and apprehend this suspect before these robberies turn violent.”

“We are very concerned that he is going to keep doing this until he is arrested,” said Chief Brian Kyes of the Chelsea Police Department.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male; approximately 5’10” tall, with a thin mustache.
