Description

As a Participatory Budgeting Item in 2015, Cambridge residents voted to create short-term immediate measures in the form of better roadway markings and signage for the safety of people bicycling along north Massachusetts Avenue. We invite you to come to a public open house with Cambridge staff to learn more about this project, which complements the City’s Vision Zero and Complete Streets Policies. The planned markings and signing vary with conditions along the Avenue, and include regular bike lanes, green markings at conflict points, shared lane markings, added signing, and short sections of separated bike lanes. Parking changes are limited to an area on the north side of the street near Linear Park. See the project webpage and open house flyer for more information.
