On Monday November 10, 2014, the City approved a six-month pilot program for Bridj bus service, a direct, flexible, real-time mass transit system. Users can request to be picked up and dropped off at specific locations from the Bridj web site.

During the pilot program, the Cambridge Traffic, Parking and Transportation Department (TPT) will evaluate impacts to MBTA service at bus stops, bike lane clearance, and changes to traffic in Cambridge.
