Description

This layer contains a 1-foot pixel resolution orthophoto of the City of Cambridge created from a March 29, 1995 flyover. Imagery was taken using a traditional 6" focal length camera used to acquire 1" = 400' scale photography.

Purpose

Created for general use within Cambridge GIS as well as for public distribution. Now used as a historical reference by many. The orthophoto was flown for the City of Cambridge. Aerial photos were taken in 1995 by Air Photographics, Inc for Analytical Surveys, Inc (ASI) of Colorado Springs, CO. This was the first flyover for the City intended to build the 1” = 100’ GIS database.
