Join the CWD and former research astronomer Dr. Joshua Roth for a glimpse at the heavens at Payson Park Reservoir in Belmont! Unbeknownst to many, this park contains a covered reservoir of drinking water that is purified before it is gravity-fed to Cambridge residents. We will explore the cosmos using telescopes, learning about the wonders of the night sky, how to identify seasonal constellations, and much more. Be sure to bundle up for the weather of the evening! All ages welcome. Please register for this event with mwong@cambridgema.gov for planning purposes. We’ll have lots of interactive indoor activities in the case of inclement weather!
