Re-dedication of “Drawn Water”: Fresh Pond Day

Come celebrate the re-dedication of “Drawn Water”,
a public art installation by artist team Mags Harries & Lajos Heder,
on Fresh Pond Day, Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 am (remarks at 11:30).
”Drawn Water”, a 2001 artwork fully integrated into the Walter J. Sullivan Water Purification Facility, includes an indoor terrazzo floor showing Cambridge’s water systems, a water column with a floating golden ball, and an outdoor water fountain that corresponds to the indoor column. The fountain system was recently upgraded, and we are marking the occasion with a celebration of this dynamic and significant work of public art.
