Cambridge is a very bicycle-friendly city and Open Studios is a fun, enjoyable event to visit by bike. The Cambridge Bicycle Committee is creating cycling tours for the 2018 Cambridge Arts Open Studios. Check back in September for more information!


By Foot:

Public Transit: 

T symbolFor neighborhoods in North and West Cambridge such as Alewife and Fresh Pond:

The closest MBTA subway stations are Harvard Square, Porter Square, and Alewife on the Red Lin
The MBTA offers many bus routes that go through these areas, including numbers 1, 83, and 77

For neighborhoods in Lechmere, Inman Square, Kendall Square, Central Square, Mid Cambridge, The Port (formerly Area IV) and Cambridgeport:

The closest MBTA subway stations are Lechmere, Kendall Square, and Central Square.
The MBTA offers many bus routes that go through these areas, including numbers 68 and CT2

Parking

Car symbolVisitors will be able to park in resident permit parking spots during Open Studios hours in designated areas. Please consult the 2018 Cambridge Arts Open Studios brochure for information about these areas and parking near Common Venues.
