As a result of a positive COVID-19 case among Cambridge Public Library staff, the City of Cambridge closed all library locations at 4 p.m. today. All library buildings will remain closed for business on Saturday, April 3 and Monday, April 5.
Virtual programs are continuing as scheduled. Contactless pickup, phone service, and materials return will resume during regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, April 6.
We have conferred with Public Health to ensure that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of library staff and members of the public when service resumes.
