The Cambridge Public Library's VOICES music series presents Promenade Opera Project: Winter Edition. Promenade Opera Project (POP) is thrilled to perform a program of winter and holiday music for you this season. This interactive concert will feature some of POP's Digital Artists-in-Residence including Alexandra Lang (soprano), Jade Espina (mezzo-soprano), Leo Balkovetz (tenor), Jorgeandres “Jac” Camargo (bass), Eoin Clark (piano) and Melanie Rucinski (piano). Selections include "The Evening Prayer" from Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, "O santa noche (O Holy Night)" by Adolphe Adam, "Carol of the Bells," arias from Handel's Messiah, and more! Come join us for a new, immersive, opera concert experience!

Promenade Opera Project is dedicated to creating immersive and innovative productions of opera that are accessible and affordable to audiences, advocating for meaningful opportunities for artists of all disciplines, and fostering partnerships with arts organizations and small businesses to promote a thriving and colorful environment for the arts. We strive to change outdated thinking about opera by producing immersive modern adaptations of opera with relevant themes and important stories for our time.
