May book selection: Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall
Reading interests: We read and discuss books written from diverse perspectives. Most selections are contemporary non-fiction and memoirs. Past selections have included Black is the Body by Emily Bernard, The Good Immigrant edited by Nikesh Shukla and Thick: And Other Essays by Tressie McMillan Cottom.
