3. Updates from Urban Forest team (David, Andrew & Kristen) - 10 min.

  • Tree planting update

  • Summer internship work plans?

4. Arbor Week events (David, Cynthia, Christina, Rob V., Gretchen, Eva) - 10 min.

  • What worked well, what not so well? Things to remember for next year?

5. Update from Civic Leadership Ceremony (Sophia, Rob, Sara) - 10 min.

 

 

6. Presentation on Ahern Field design (Kevin) - 20 min.

 

7. Next steps for the CPP: proposal for two CPP sub-committees (discussion) - 20 min.

  • Review 2 sub-committees' focus and possible topics: Urban Forestry Planning and Policy, Community Outreach and Engagement

  • Form sub-committees

  • Plan first meeting - preferably before end of May,  prioritize 2-3 initiatives, bring sub-committee reports to June CPP meeting.

8. What’s coming up (Cindy) - 5 min.

  • Presentation on Gold Star Mothers remediation and design, part of Grand Junction Connector, at next CPP meeting on June 10

  • CPP tabling at Fresh Pond Day, June 13, 11 am - 3 pm (Sophia)

  • July CPP meeting will be a guided walk by David

  • No CPP meeting in August

  • Presentation of updated Urban Forest Master Plan at H&E meeting TBD

  • Openings for new members to join in September
