CAMBRIDGE HISTORICAL COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM to consider the following matters under M.G.L. Ch. 40C and Ch. 2.78 of the Code of the City of Cambridge:

This meeting will be held online. The public may participate via Zoom (https://zoom.us/) from a phone, tablet or computer. Written comments received by 5:00 P.M. the day before the meeting will be considered by commissioners in advance of meeting. Comments received later will be entered into the record. Public Hearings: Alterations to Designated Properties
Case 4906: Brattle St. from Mason St. to Fresh Pond Pkwy, by City of Cambridge. Review existing two-way bike lanes and related structures. (continued from Nov. 6)
Case 5230: 1124 Massachusetts Ave., by Sigma Chi Foundation Inc. Construct 4th floor addition and roof deck. (continued from Nov. 13)
Case 5369: 39 Brattle St., by AP Brattle Square LP. Install internally-illuminated blade sign.
Case 5370: 44 Bow St., by Harvard Lampoon Trust. Alter paving at front of building. Install weathervane.
Case 5371: 159 Brattle St., by History Cambridge. Install temporary art.

Case D-1774: 37-39 Essex St., by Amelia Taylor Pour-Over Trust. Demolish double house (1845).
Case D-1775: 24R Winter St., by William & Lauren Gibson. Violation; project exceeded scope. Request for demolition permit for 1838 house.
