  • Recommendation to Relocate Certain Polling Sites for the 2021 Municipal Election

    At a meeting held on September 9, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. the City of Cambridge Board of Election Commissioners voted 4-0 to approve the following report:

    Nomination papers for City Council and School Committee will be available beginning Thursday, July 1st at the Election Commission office, 51 Inman Street, Cambridge.

  • City of Cambridge Announces Student Contest Winner for its 2021 “I Voted” Sticker

    The City of Cambridge today announced the winning design for the “I Voted Sticker” that will be used during the fall 2021 election season in Cambridge. The winning design by Cambridge Rindge and Latin School sophomore Evan Garvey was selected out of 55 submissions.

    Official Cambridge results for the November 3, 2020 State/Presidential Election

  • Updated November 3, 2020 State/Presidential Election Unofficial Results

    Unofficial Results were updated on November 9, 2020 to include mail-in ballots received by 5pm on Friday, November 6th that were postmarked by Election Day. The unofficial results include all ballots processed by the tabulators during advanced processing, on Election Day, or during the post-Election processing on Monday, November 9, 2020. These results do not include hand-counted ballots (auxiliary ballots), write-in results, or provisional ballots.

  • 2020 Post-Election Audit

    Please be advised that in accordance with the provisions of Section 109A of Chapter 54 of the General Laws, the City of Cambridge was chosen for a post-election audit.

  • Post-Processing of Ballots for the State/Presidential Election

    The post-processing of ballots will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 9 a.m. at the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave. This process will be open for public observation.

  • November 3, 2020 State/Presidential Election Unofficial Results

    Election Night unofficial results include in-person early voting, mail-in ballots received before Election Day, and ballots processed by tabulators at the polling places. These results do not include hand-counted ballots (auxiliary ballots), write-in results, provisional ballots, or on-time mail-in ballots received on or after November 3, 2020.

  • Voting in Person on Election Day

    Voting on Election Day will still be available for those who may want to vote at the polls on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Election Day. You must vote at your assigned polling location. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some polling sites like those in high-risk facilities were temporarily relocated for the upcoming 2020 State/Presidential Election.
