Description

The City of Cambridge Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS) will host its Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 25, at 10:30 a.m. on Cambridge Common. The ceremony will be emceed by DVS Director Cynthia Harris, with remarks from city officials.

Family-friendly activities will follow the ceremony, including live entertainment by Monkeys with Crayons, and A Petting Zoo with free food and refreshments for service members.

Additionally, in partnership with the MA250 campaign, an initiative that celebrates 250 years of America’s independence and Massachusetts’ revolutionary legacy, the City of Cambridge will participate in other events showcasing the stories that highlight historic themes of revolution and independence.
