Social Sciences

Social sciences can mean a lot of different things, but here we refer specifically to political science, social issues, current events, and history.  We have four databases that can help you access the information you need on these topics.

Political Science/Social Issues/Current Events

If you need to know both sides of today's hottest social issues then Opposing Viewpoints In Context is for you.  It's also great for understanding many current events inside and out.

If you need international viewpoints on a broad spectrum of global issues, topics, and current events, then give Global Issues In Context a try.  It's political science made easy!

Both of these databases are great to understand the ins and outs of both United States History and World History.

Also check out the Annals of American History from Encyclopaedia Britannica.
