Shortly before 830 on the morning of March 30th, the firefighters of Engine 2, Ladder 2, Squad 2, Rescue 1 & Division 1 effected the rescue of two construction workers who were stranded on disabled scaffolding approximately 70' high, against a high-rise building on Vassar St.

Firefighters in safety harnesses removed the victims to safety via a window on a lower floor. Both victims were evaluated by EMS but refused any further treatment.

This was a methodic, "text book" operation as members have trained in this type of scenario many times.
