This week Firefighters from all Ladder companies, Squads, & the Rescue are participating in "hands-on" power saw training in various tactical situations. Training includes saw overview & cutting of horizontal wooden roofs, metal siding, simulated padlocks, rebar, and more. Safety, including eye & ear protection, is emphasized. The use of power saws is an integral part of 21st century firefighting and rescue.
