Graphics Are Great! Book Group (O'Connell/Virtual)

Our monthly "Graphics Are Great!" book group is for kids aged 8-12. Check out a copy of the book beforehand, or download it from the Libby app. Our December book is Four Eyes by Rex Ogle and Dave Valeza. This book group will meet virtually and in person at the O'Connell Branch. Please register below if you would like to attend virtually. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants one hour before the event. Need a laptop or hotspot to participate? Call the O'Connell Branch at 617-349-4019. December selection: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott Reading Interests: We read mostly contemporary Fiction and Non-Fiction, with forays into older works and classics. Past selections include: Wellness by Nathan Hill, Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward, The Elements of Marie Curie by Dava Sobel, and The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. How to get the print book: Copies of the book are set aside at the O'Connell Branch. O’Connell Branch Library opened in 1897 and has served the East Cambridge community from its current location since 1939. The branch is named after Cardinal William Henry O’Connell, the Archbishop of Boston from 1907 to 1944.
