Dear Patrons,
Construction at the Main Library
This week, construction will begin at the Main Library on a new all-gender restroom. All of our libraries have all-gender bathrooms, and at the Main Library two are open some of our hours. This new bathroom will be open during all the hours that the Main Library is open.
We support patrons’ rights to use the restroom that best reflects their gender identity. This project will help fulfill our mission to be an inclusive, welcoming space for all patrons. The new bathroom, which will meet all current AAB and ADA guidelines for accessibility, is expected to be completed by January 2025.
