The collection of children’s books in Portuguese housed at the Valente Branch now has a new temporary home on the third floor of the Main Library in the Children’s Room. The collection is accessible during regular library hours, and the collection will be returned to the Valente Branch when it reopens.
The Valente Branch Library is the home of the Manuel Rogers Sr. Center for Portuguese Culture, a collection of Portuguese language books that serve the needs of Cambridge's Portuguese speaking community.
