Cambridge Public Library to Launch Coding and Web Development Workshop

Beginning on April 1, 2026, the Library will host an eight-week Coding and Web Development workshop at the Main Library.Participants must have basic computer literacy and are encouraged to attend all sessionsRegistration is required.

Participants will learn programming fundamentals, build web pages with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, use developer tools such as Git, and more. There will be time to work on projects and receive guidance from experienced developers, with optional homework materials made available for more in-depth learning.

This workshop is part of the Library’sDigital Equity Initiative. The Digital Equity Initiative is dedicated to making the library a beacon of digital empowerment and to provide patrons with the tools, knowledge, and tailored support to succeed in a connected world. The initiative offers technology classes, one-on-one assistance, takeout technology, and more.
