Library Card Design Contest

Design the Cambridge Public Library’s Next Library Card!

The Cambridge Public Library is holding a library card design contest. The contest opens on October 15 for Minuteman Library Network cardholders who live, work, or go to school in Cambridge. Participants can submit original designs to be featured on new, limited-edition library cards to come in 2027. One adult and one youth winner will see their design featured on library cards and be selected for a grand prize. Learn more on our website.

Finalists will be displayed in the Library and featured on the website and social media. All submissions must agree to the Photo/Creative Works Release and be submitted online by Sunday, November 15 at 11:59 p.m. Only complete entries will be reviewed. Winners will be selected by public vote via the Library website. Finalists' designs will be displayed online and at all Library locations. Each winner will receive a $100 gift card to Porter Square Books, courtesy of the Friends of the Cambridge Public Library.

The theme of the contest is "Adventure Awaits....at the Library!" What adventures have you had at the Library? Stories you've read, new skills you've learned, or worlds you've imagined? Share your illustration of a journey you've gone on through the Cambridge Public Library.
