Paint Your Truth is a community based process painting therapeutic workshop. This in-person event allows you to express your emotions through the power of painting. Let go of stress and connect with others in a supportive environment. No painting experience needed, just an open heart and mind. Come and discover the healing power of art! EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO THURSDAY, JULY 24. Art on a nice Summer night? Nothing sounds better than that! Come to the Library and enjoy an art filled evening learning the techniques of watercolor painting. In partnership with artist Brooke Lambert, a professional printmaker and painter, she will take you through this guided art class. The library will provide all materials.

The climate is changing, and we're all here on the planet together. Join us for a monthly community gathering and discussion of a variety of books about climate change. We will share thoughts, resources, and occasionally host special guests in a welcoming small-group environment. For our January meeting, we will discuss Human Nature: nine ways to feel about our changing planet by Kate Marvel. Copies of the book are available at the Main Library Q&A Desk. Join us for a story time where we learn about the animals that live at Land’s Sake Farm! This story time will feature chickens. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. Alpacas from the Harvard Alpaca Ranch will be visiting the library for an educational program and meet and greet. Join us to learn more about alpacas and take some time to say hello! This event is intended for school-age children. No registration required.
