Young people ages 10 to 14 who love to write are welcome to share their ideas and writing. Snacks are provided! CYAS is currently working on a group story. At this meeting we will be working collaboratively on writing/editing. If you are attending for the first time, registration is helpful, but not required.

Continue building your machine-sewing skills AND create bespoke sewn crafts! In this session, you can choose from a menu of beginner projects including: earbud cases and zlippers. This session is led by fiber artist and designer Lenni Armstrong. Registration is required and participants must have completed Sewing 101 in The Hive before registering.

It's creepy crawly week at the Library! Families with elementary school-age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together! In March we will be joined by author and illustrator Lindsey Leigh to learn about drawing and cartooning animals!

Join Central Square's cookbook club! This month, we're cooking from Everything's Good: Cozy Classics You'll Cook Always and Forever: A Cookbook by Toni Chapman. Join S-Cube Diplomacy and the O’Neill Branch Library for a multigenerational STEAM program exploring how plants, pollinators, soil, and people work together in a healthy native garden. Families, youth, adult learners, and community members will learn how pollinator gardens support biodiversity, climate awareness, and neighborhood connection through storytelling, observation, and hands-on reflection.

Watercolor Workshop, Cardboard Loom Weaving, Brewery Book Club, and More!

We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for our monthly evening story time event. This program will run for 20-25 minutes, with songs, stories and rhymes. No registration is required. Join us at the Main Library to celebrate your favorite fandoms! We're throwing a Minecraft party, where you can make Minecraft themed crafts, get snacks, and play Minecraft trivia!
