On the evening of February 28th, shortly after 9 p.m., a working fire was ordered for 82 Inman St, a 2 story, wood-frame, mansard residence. The fire on floor 2 was quickly contained and extinguished. Firefighters overhauled, ventilated, and opened up to ensure that the fire in concealed spaces was completeley extinguished. Searches of all floors were completed to ensure that all residents had safely evacuated the building.
No injuries were reported and the cause was under investigation.
Group 2 was on duty.
Four engine companies, 3 ladder companies, 3 squads, Rescue 1, and two Division Chiefs worked at the fire.
