On Monday, March 23, the Cambridge Public Library will host REVMA for a Sacred Songs and Rituals performance in honor of Greek American Heritage Month. REVMA plays traditional Greek music (“Dimotika”), for listening and dancing audiences. This is an in-person event.Registration is encouraged but not required.
REVMA is comprised of Sandy Theodorou on accordion, laouto, vocals; Rohan Gregory on violin; and Fabio Pirozzolo on percussion. REVMA has played for international folk festivals and Greek cultural events including the Flurry Saratoga Springs, Folk Arts Center Balkan Night, and Jose Mateo Dance for World Community.
Sacred Songs and Rituals is a music series at the Cambridge Public Librarythat celebrates the many different cultures found in the City of Cambridge through traditional music.
